Unconventional beliefs have always invited ridicule, …but Is Scientology just a weird cult?

From a theological standpoint, what is the difference between Scientology and more accepted Religion? Is it because we witnessed the creation of it?

A German court ruled on Tuesday that parentsmay not circumcise their sons at birth for religious reasons, because the procedure violates the child’s right to bodily integrity. Both Muslims and Jews circumcise their male children. Why is Christianity the only Abrahamic religion that doesn’t encourage circumcision?

Where do you think circumcision comes from? Fertility ritual? To mark slaves?
